Thomas Buchar – Christopher Malter

Thomas Buchar and Christopher Malter both founded Global Accelerated Ventures, a business that supports innovation companies such as Centers for Analgesic Transformation and connects them to the community in order to best serve their audience. From this basis, C4AT has grown into a prospering think tank and incubator impacting the opioid epidemic.

Simi Chaddha Ranajee, PhD, MBA

Dr. Ranajee has worked in hospitals and health systems, media, education marketing, finance, devices, diagnostics and pharmaceuticals. Her experience both professionally and personally provide her not only with the experience and expertise to be qualified but the passion to disrupt this opioid epidemic . Dr. Ranajee has decided to make a difference in one of the most expansive public health problems in decades. Her goal is to create an environment that not only provides alternatives to opioids but provides resources and returns to physicians, corporations, individuals, philanthropists and investors.

Vice President, Strategy and External Affairs

Paula Meyer Besler, JD, CDM

Paula Meyer Besler, JD is Vice President, Strategy and External Affairs and is based in C4AT’s Midwest office located in Chicago. She is a health care attorney with a passion for community health and creating strategic partnerships to advocate for and advance legislation, policy and grass roots efforts to combat the opioid epidemic in our country.

Director of Engagement

Alexis Waldbaum

Alexis Rudin is the Director of Social Engagement at the Centers for Analgesic Transformation. Alexis has a Bachelors of Science from The George Washington University and Master’s of Science from New York University. With a background in health and wellness, Alexis marries her health coaching background with her digital marketing and social media management skills to create and disseminate relevant research and messaging about the opioid epidemic through C4AT’s social media channels and monthly newsletters.

April Pellicane

April Pellicane. A licensed massage therapist,has extensive experience within the wellness and pain management community. She has a drive to help the community as part of C4AT through her position as outreach coordinator, and strives to help disrupt the opioid epidemic through her work.
